Exercise group for people living with Parkinsons

Explore a range of specific exercises that are designed to improve mobility, physical function and ultimately the quality of life for people living with Parkinsons.

This program has been developed by a specialist neurological physiotherapist. The classes use Therabands, balls and other equipment and participants are encouraged to repeat the exercises at home to maximise the effectiveness of the program.

Each participant will work individually with our Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists to tailor the program to ensure it matches their particular capabilities and meets their specific needs.

Exercise has long been recognised for its therapeutic benefits in maintaining mobility and function. The specific exercises in this class may not only improve overall function, but also slow the progression of Parkinsons.
