Inala Place welcomes the public to their newly upgraded facility

PresCare Inala Place held an open day this week to reveal the recently upgraded facility to the public.

Joining the staff, volunteers and clients for this special day was Mr Milton Dick, Federal Member for Oxley and Greg Skelton, PresCare’s Chief Executive Officer. Both guests and long-time volunteer of 25 years, Joyce Swanson, cut the ribbon and cake to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Once again, thank you to Milton Dick and his office for supporting Inala Place in obtaining $20,000 as part of the Stronger Communities Grants Programme. The funds were used for concreting to expand the patio area, the installation of a Stratco roof, a new barbeque, and new fauna and flora for the garden. Thank you also to Jan and Alan Kennedy, who also supported by sourcing additional grass, flowers and bark.

Additionally, PresCare renovated the rooms inside with fire safety walls and new doors. Thank you to Cr Charles Strunk for his donation of $550 which went towards the new linen and duvets in these rooms.

This renovation would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of Lisa Thompson (Executive Manager – Community), Monika Prinsloo (Business Manager), Kristine Jones (Inala Place Coordinator) and Colin Thompson (Project Manager).
