Press Release: Corinda to benefit from high tech and innovative seniors’ residence

13 November 2018

A state of the art residence, constructed over 5000sqm, incorporating over three hectares of landscaped grounds with an old English courtyard and European inspired water features, is set for construction in Corinda providing valued housing for our older residents.

Leading aged care provider PresCare, in conjunction with Catalyst Health REIT announced construction of the upmarket development, in the new year, will provide high standard, consumer driven-care with residents expected to move in towards the end of April 2020.

Mr Skelton, PresCare CEO, said the new location would help raise the standard of residential care in South East Queensland with the residents benefiting from 4.5 star accommodation.

“It will have the highest quality finishings and an innovative design approach allowing some residents the opportunity to convert their rooms into larger suites,” he said. “The residence has been architecturally designed to provide as many residents as possible, access to a private balcony that will overlook the leafy suburb of Corinda.”

“Our residents will have access to all the latest innovative technology and be part of a connected digital hub so they can stay connected with family and friends. A private hair salon, dining room, residents’ library and also a holistic wellness room for spa treatments and massages will create a community and resort-style feel to the complex.”

“Adding to all of this an old English style courtyard with a European inspired water feature will provide residents with a tranquil environment where they can chat over coffee with friends at the dedicated café.”

“We are delighted to be bringing such a high level of aged care to the Corinda area.  It is important that we always keep improving and raising the standards of residential accommodation for our community. By ‘raising the bar’ of quality care and facilities, we are paying homage to the connection that we have had with Hopetoun Corinda since 1930 and taking it in to the 21st Century.”
