Safety Business Partner

Working within the Human Resources team, the Safety Business Partner will provide structured and targeted coaching to drive improved safety leadership capability and performance at PresCare.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Coach senior leaders on being effective safety champions to drive improved safety culture across the business;
  • Proactively manage and oversee the return to work program;
  • Provide insightful reporting and analytics to the business to assist with informed decision making;
  • Identify safety improvement opportunities;
  • Track behavioural improvements and capability development;
  • Provide accurate and timely advice, and action to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisation policies and procedures;
  • Contribute to the development of procedures, reports, training materials and other tools as necessary to improve internal capabilities and decision making; &
  • Model a commitment to PresCare’s Zero Harm framework, ensure a practical approach to work, health and safety and demonstrate Safety Leadership in all you do.

If you have the following and are up for a challenge, this is the role for you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational or Workplace Health and Safety (OHS/WHS);
  • Significant demonstrated safety leadership experience including mentoring and coaching senior managers;
  • OH&S Management Systems Lead Auditors Accreditation (desirable);
  • Experience in designing & utilising WHS tools; &
  • Current open ‘C’ Class Driver’s License
