Aged Care Quality Standards

On 1st July 2019, the Quality Standards came into effect. The Quality Standards now, clearly define what good aged care should look like. Meaning, it is now easier for you to check that you are receiving good care. Good care shouldn’t just be about ticking boxes, it’s about you and your individual needs.

Whether you receive care at home or in one of our residential aged care services, every person receiving care has a right to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of age, belief or culture. You also have the right to raise any concerns you may have about the service you are receiving, especially if your care isn’t up to standard, you aren’t ‘being difficult’, this feedback is an important part to the delivery of the service.
