Nestled in the scenic Gold Coast Hinterland atop the serene Tamborine Mountain, this 38 bed facility offers a relaxed and tranquil environment for residents.
Our residential facility on Tamborine Mountain offers:
- Ageing in Place
- 32 Single rooms all with single en-suites incorporating 3 x 2 bed shared rooms and eight secure dementia rooms in a special dementia specific living environment called "The Cottage"
- Predominantly high care rooms
- One special care/palliative care suite for respite
- Leading edge Wifi security monitoring and keypad door security
- Adjoining single rooms for the convenience of couples
- Sheltered landscaped gardens and aviaries
- Palliative Care Loan Equipment - primarily for Palliative Care on the Mountain
Services for residents within the onsite include podiatry, dental services, physiotherapy, speech pathology and aromatherapy.
Active volunteer community support from numerous groups make this complex a highly sought after residence with plenty of interests and activities catered for.
COMMUNITY IN-HOME SERVICES
Our Inspired Community Care Program is designed to assist older people to maintain independence while remaining at home for as long as possible. Community Aged Care Packages (CACPs) and Extended Aged Care at Home Packages (EACH), provide a package of care depending on your own individual needs.
You can be assured that services are selected through discussions with you about your needs and selecting from those services we are able to provide in your area.
From time to time the services will need to be wait listed. Please put your name down early so we can be aware of your requests ahead of time.
Examples of what might be customised into your package...
- Assistance with personal care such as bathing/showering.
- Light housework
- Laundry assistance
- Assistance with meal provision
- Medication monitoring
- Assistance with mobility
- Transport to nearby medical appointments
- Monitoring medications
- After hours assistance
- Emotional support
- Assistance with light maintenance
- Installation of emergency alarm monitoring systems
A fee is initially negotiated with you and is charged weekly. The Aged Care Act has a scale of fees which is based on your income. This program is an initiative of the Federal Government who co-fund the service.
If for some reason you are not eligible for these packages after an ACAT (Aged Care Assessment Team) Assessment, the same services can still be provided to you through our flexible PresCare Private Program. Service fees are available on application. Referral forms are not required.
